You will be assigned a partner to work with for this presentation and as a partnership you will choose a Spanish speaking country for your presentation. After you have decided come up and check it off with me so that no two groups have the same country.
The countries you can pick from are:
Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Spain.
For some of the bigger countries like Spain, Argentina, and Mexico, I will allow you to pick a specific region of the country to do your presentation on, which will allow more than one group to have the country, BUT I will only allow this for 4 groups aka only two groups can have the same country but different regions. The main goal of this Quest is to allow you to get to know more about each of the countries.
Each partner in the group will have two roles for your presentation. You will decide in your groups who will do which part.
One partner will be in charge of researching the dress, food, and customs of your country (products, practices, perspectives of the country's culture), the other partner will research the geography of the country (important places to visit, things to do, etc.). You will work together to complete the webquest and presentation and make sure that it fits the standards of the rubric found on the Evaluation page.

Some ways that you can present your country: (If you think of a different way that you and your partner would like to present, email me or talk to me in class during the time I give you to work on this so that I can know and approve)

Glogster: Basically a digital poster board where you can add pictures, video clips and lots of information in a creative way. You can sign up for a 7 day free trial to create the glog, but make sure that both you and your partner have access to the username and password during that week so you can finish. Glogster.com
A short 5 minute video presentation: You are your partner can create a short 5 minute video presentation. You and your partner can either star in this video or just record your voices.

Here is another site you can use.
Kizoa.com

Create a printed Travel Brochure to hand out to your fellow classmates. (Be creative with this and use your own words, also put citations on the back of the pamphlet)
Powerpoint: Again should be no longer than 5 minutes when presented.

Everything you write or speak in your presentation should be IN SPANISH. Anything in English will be marked down on points.
